2024 Columbus Day Luncheon

Please join us in celebrating our 90th year at the 2024 Columbus Day Luncheon.

The Columbus Monument Corporation invites you to join us for our Annual Columbus Day Luncheon Celebration at 12:00 p.m. on Monday October 14, 2024.  Our luncheon will be held at the Oncenter Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center, following a Wreath Laying ceremony at Columbus Circle at 11:00 a.m.

You are also welcome to join us for a mass at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday October 13, 2024.

Join us to honor Police Chief Joseph L. Cecile, recipient of the 2024 Joseph J. Pietrafesa Award, for 39 years of dedicated service to the Syracuse Police Department.  Chief Cecile has demonstrated strong leadership during these especially challenging times.

We will also be honoring the Carbon Street Neighbors, with this year’s Pirro Family “Santa Maria” Award, for their courage and assistance during the recent home explosion, demonstrating the essence of neighbors helping neighbors

We also ask that you consider a tax-deductible contribution to our campaign to preserve the Columbus Monument.  The battle is far from over, and your continued support for our campaign is needed more than ever.

Tickets for the luncheon are $50 per person and $500 for a table of ten.  A vegetarian meal option will be available, please indicate your preference when ordering tickets.

All checks should be made payable to Columbus Monument Corporation, and sent to:
